In addition to supporting test marketing at our own facilities, we leverage our network with wholesalers, retailers, and F&B establishments in Singapore to assist with product distribution and business matching in the local market.
About Service
Test marketing with limited-time menu
JAPAN RAIL CAFE offers signature menus with a focus on themes and regions. Test marketing is conducted by offering signature menus as the first step in analysing Singaporean tastes, and this is recommended for product planning for restaurants.
Hosting tasting and business meetings with invited buyers
Assist in test marketing at a large-scale event organised by SEABD, which is expected to attract over 10,000 visitors. If your product is aimed at restaurants, selling it on the menu at JAPAN RAIL CAFE is recommended. For retail products, exhibiting it at The Japan Rail Fair where general consumers can purchase it directly is recommended.
Sales testing through product sales at THE JAPAN RAIL FAIR
Work with LUMINE Singapore, a JR East Group company that operates stores in Singapore, to support the promotion of traditional crafts and other non-food items.
POP displays of traditional crafts at LUMINE Singapore
Support in product displays and trial sales on major e-commerce sites in Singapore, and hold group interviews before trial sales at JAPAN RAIL CAFE.
Trial sales using cross-border e-commerce services
In addition to our own platform, JAPAN RAIL CLUB, we support product listing and trial sales on wellknown e-commerce sites in Singapore. We can also arrange group interviews prior to product launches.
Collaboration with restaurants
Support collaborations with Japanese and local restaurants based on product features, support in planning and management of hybrid projects that promote new products and ingredients while expanding the reach of the Singapore market, whose lifestyle and dining habits differ from Japan.

A tasting business meeting was held, where 40 restaurants, importers, and other companies were, with the objective of distributing and exporting Fukushima ingredients to Singapore in the future. On top of providing an opportunity for people to sample rare seafood in Singapore, this initiative was also aimed at encouraging restaurants to continue selling the products in the future.
